When you share a Dispo88 camera, a lot of people are about to take photos into the same album. So it's fair to ask who gets to see them. The short answer: the album is shared, and guests see every photo.
The camera's owner sees everything
If you created the camera, you can see every photo every guest took, on every tier. You can also delete photos, set a cover photo, and change the camera's settings.
Guests see their own photos, and everyone else's
Album sharing is on for new cameras, so guests can browse the album, not just their own shots:
- Every guest sees every photo, on every tier: Free, Crew and Event.
There's also a Just mine filter if you only want your own shots. Here's what each tier includes.
How Dispo88 knows which photos are yours:
- If you're logged in, your photos are tied to your account, so you'll see them on any device.
- If you're not logged in, your photos are remembered by the browser you took them in. Open the album in that same browser to see them. If you clear your browser data or switch to another browser, they won't show up for you (the owner still has them).
That second point matters if you opened the camera from Messenger or Instagram, since those apps use their own built-in browser.
Turning album sharing off
The owner can turn album sharing off anytime, from the camera's settings or the album page. Then each guest sees only the photos they took themselves.
And nobody sees anything for an hour
Whatever the setting, every photo develops for one hour before it appears in the album. That includes the owner. It's what keeps the night feeling like a disposable camera instead of a live feed.
Passwords and locks
Event cameras have two more controls:
- Password: guests enter it before they can take photos or see the album.
- Camera lock: stops new photos entirely, for example when the event ends. The album stays open.
To choose how much of the album guests can browse, use the album sharing switch.

FAQ
Can guests see each other's photos?
Yes, while album sharing is on (the default for new cameras). Guests see every photo, on any tier. If the owner turns sharing off, each guest sees only their own.
Can the camera owner see all photos?
Yes. The owner sees every photo on every tier, once it has developed.
Why can't I see the photos I took?
Photos take an hour to develop. If it's been longer than that and you weren't logged in, open the album in the same browser you took the photos with. Logging in ties future photos to your account.
Can I delete a photo someone took?
The camera's owner can delete any photo from the album.
