How does it work?
Create a camera, get a unique link, and share it. Friends open it on their phones and start shooting. Photos are saved to a shared album and become viewable after a short develop time — so you stop worrying about how it looks and just enjoy the moment.
Is Dispo88 free?
Yes! Every camera starts free with up to 88 photos. If you need more — or want features like album sharing, a QR poster, or password protection — you can upgrade a camera to Crew ($5) or Event ($39) at any time.
What are the camera tiers?
Each camera has its own tier: Free (up to 88 photos), Crew ($5 one-time — unlimited photos + full shareable album), or Event ($39 one-time — everything in Crew, plus guest hint, QR poster, password protection, photo export, and camera lock). Upgrades are per-camera, so you can mix tiers across your cameras.
How do I upgrade a camera?
From the camera page, tap the upgrade prompt — or go to the camera’s settings page and tap ‘Upgrade this camera.’ You’ll see a comparison of Crew and Event tiers before checking out. The upgrade is a one-time payment and applies instantly.
How do I see my photos?
Photos you take always appear in that camera’s album. They’ll be ‘developing’ for a short time before they’re viewable — stay in the moment! The full album is shareable with anyone if the camera is on the Crew or Event tier.
How do I change a camera’s cover photo?
Open the camera’s album, tap the select icon, choose exactly one photo, then tap ‘Cover.’ That photo becomes the cover and will always appear first in the camera’s slideshow. Only the camera owner can set the cover.
How do I password-protect my camera?
Available on Event cameras. Go to the camera’s settings page, enable ‘Password protection,’ and set a password. Guests will be asked to enter it before they can take photos. You can change or remove the password at any time.
How do I stop guests from taking more photos?
On an Event camera, go to the settings page and toggle ‘Lock camera.’ Guests will see a message that the camera is locked and won’t be able to shoot. You can unlock it again at any time.
How do I get a QR poster for my event?
Available on Event cameras. Go to the camera’s settings page and tap ‘QR Poster.’ You’ll get a printable postcard with the camera’s QR code — perfect for placing on tables or pinning to a wall so guests can join instantly.
How do I export all my photos?
Available on Event cameras. Go to the camera’s settings page and tap ‘Export all photos.’ All developed photos will be downloaded as a zip file.
What’s a Memory Reel?
It’s a short video made from your favorite photos in an album — perfect for saving or sharing the moment.
How do I make a Memory Reel?
Head to your camera’s album, select the photos you want, and hit the ‘Reel’ button. Done!
How do I view my payment history?
Go to your account page — you’ll find a full list of your camera upgrades and payments there.

Does Dispo88 work offline?
Dispo88 needs a stable internet connection to take and upload photos — but we’re working on making this better!
