How Much Does Dispo88 Cost? Free, Crew, and Event Explained

Short version: every Dispo88 camera starts free with up to 88 photos. If you need more, you upgrade that one camera, once. Crew is $5 and Event is $39 (both in Canadian dollars). There's no subscription.

Free: a camera for the casual stuff

The free tier is a full camera, not a trial. You create it, share the link, and anyone with the link can shoot from their phone without downloading anything or making an account. Photos develop for an hour, then show up in the album.

As the camera's owner, you see every photo. Guests see the shots they took themselves. For a dinner with friends or a small birthday, 88 photos is usually plenty.

You can make as many free cameras as you like.

Crew ($5): for your friend group

Crew is the upgrade most groups actually want. It removes the 88-photo cap and turns on album sharing, so everyone who has the link can scroll through every photo, not just their own.

You can also set a per-guest photo limit if you want everyone to have the same number of shots, like a real disposable, and let guests add photos from their camera roll if you want those too.

Event ($39): for weddings and bigger nights

Event has everything in Crew, plus the tools that matter when you're hosting a crowd:

• A QR code and a printable QR poster in six styles (minimal, retro, bold, wedding, party, film), with your own colors and text
• A custom guest hint — the message guests see before they shoot
• A password guests enter before they can take photos
• Camera lock, to stop new photos when the night's over
• Your choice of develop time, from 10 minutes to 12 hours (the default is 1 hour)
• A live slideshow that shows photos on a TV or projector as they develop
• Export all photos as one zip file

How upgrading works

Open the camera's settings and tap Upgrade this camera, pick Crew or Event, and pay by card. The upgrade applies to that camera right away. Your other cameras stay as they are.
